GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. (February 10, 2014) —
Shaneka Monique Torres is very particular about her burgers. In fact, when a Grand Rapids McDonald’s goofed up her order twice, she expressed her culinary anger by firing a pistol at the drive-thru window, police said.
Torres, 29, is charged with carrying a concealed weapon, unlawful discharge of a weapon and felony firearms.
Around 3 a.m. last Monday morning, Torres was a passenger in a car going through the drive-thru at the Michigan golden arches. She ordered a meal with bacon but it came without it.
She complained and got it free. They returned later to get another order and that too was missing the delicious bacon. That did it for Torres.
She allegedly fired a shot into the drive-thru window then fled, authorities said.
Detectives tracked her down easily because she had left her cell phone number after the first botched order.
Torres also had a bench warrant for not paying fines from an earlier driving under suspension ticket.
She is being held on a $50,000 bond. Another court appearance is scheduled Feb. 21.
