A California man destroyed two little girls’ lemonade stand and stole their money box.

The San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department says that on July 15, 2015 around 3:45 p.m., Santini Tate strolled up to a Rancho Cucamonga lemonade stand operated by a pair of 13-year-old girls and told them he wanted some lemonade but did not have any money.

The kind-hearted girls poured him a cup and Tate walked away. A few moments later, Tate returned, pushed over the lemonade stand, and stole their pink and turquoise cash box with about $30 inside.

According to local media, a brother of one of the girls confronted Tate and recovered the cash box (minus the cash), but Tate got away.

With his description in hand, deputies soon caught up with Tate, who still had the money, and arrested him.

Tate, 18, was charged with strong arm robbery and is being held on a $200,000 bond. Authorities are investigating whether Tate is connected to other crimes in the area that day.
