A Georgia man was busted for tattooing a minor after showcasing his underage work on social media, authorities said.
Darius Hunter, 20, was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and illegal tattooing. It’s against the law to tattoo a person under 18 unless authorized by a physician.
Clayton County authorities were tipped off to the underage tattooing, which led police to a home near Jonesboro. That’s where they found the 13-year-old boy with a fresh tattoo on his chest. The boy’s parents were unaware of the tattoo.
Authorities say Hunter had no business license and didn’t have a permit from the county’s health board.
More charges are possible against Hunter, who was held under $5,000 bond.
