A Pennsylvania man who kidnapped his ex-girlfriend was caught at a McDonald’s restaurant after cops used a ‘Find My iPhone” app on her phone.

Joseph Boller, 18, had met with his ex-girlfriend  in February 2016, in East Stroudsburg to discuss custody of a child when the argument turned violent, authorities say. Boller grabbed the young women and tied up her hands, feet and mouth with duct tape. He then forced her into the truck of his car.

The victim’s mother received a plea for help in a text from her daughter, leading the mother to call state police. Investigators used the mom’s iPhone app to track the victim’s iPhone to the fast-food restaurant in Milesburg, about 150 miles away from home.

Authorities say Boller may have been trying to leave the state.
