BAY CITY, Mich. (June 13, 2014 arrest) A Michigan man was recently arrested for indecent exposure after neighbors complained about him stripping naked to moss his grass.
Bobby Blodgett, 61, of Bay City, got area residents upset in May when he decided to cut his back yard in the nude. A neighbor told officers that he saw the obscene sight and yelled to Blodgett to “put some clothes on.”
Another neighbor told police the man had previously cut his grass in lady’s stockings. Authorities issued a warrant for Blodgett on June 11 and he was arrested June 13 on one count of indecent exposure, a misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in jail and a $5,000 fine.
According to one media source, the suspect denied being fully naked, insisting he was wearing bikini briefs.
“I had on my underwear,” he told a Michigan media outlet. “I made a mistake. I was not naked. It won’t happen again. I was never naked.”
