New Jersey authorities are looking for a serial shoplifter who steals breast pumps.

The man was caught Dec. 1 on surveillance at Burlington Coat Factory in Brick Township, N.J., where he tried to steal three Madela Freestyle Breast Pumps worth over $300 each. A store employee stopped the man outside but the shoplifter dropped the pumps and ran.
But this not the first time he’s tried to swipe breast pumps. Authorities suspect the same man successfully took them from a Burlington Coat Factory in Freehold, N.J.
While it’s a bizarre crime, experts say the costly pumps are a popular item on the black market.
Members of the public are asked to contact the Brick Township Police Department at 732-262-1100 if they recognize the breast pump thief.
