Up-Skirter Nabbed in Florida Walmart, Calls it “Misunderstanding’

SANFORD, Fla. (July 17, 2014 arrest) —
A Florida man caught sticking his flip-top camera phone underneath a woman’s skirt in July told police it was a “misunderstanding” and he had done “nothing wrong.”
Perhaps John Henry Williams doesn’t understand something: Walmart has surveillance cameras of their own.
The store’s cameras caught the 30-year-old perve putting his cellphone under a woman’s skirt at a Sanford Walmart and taking a photo, according to police.
Sanford police responded to the Walmart on July 17 for a report of a suspicious man. A store employee said he noticed the man following a woman and her young daughter.
“Williams looked around nervously, and then, with the use of his small black flip top Samsung phone, lunged low to the floor and placed the phone between the still unaware female’s legs (the victim was wearing an above the knee blue skirt),” the arrest affidavit stated.
Williams is seen on store video following the woman to another aisle and doing it again, police said. When an officer approached Williams about the crime, thesuspect denied doing anything wrong.
The victim told police she saw Williams following her but didn’t realize what he was doing. But Walmart cameras gave police all the evidence they needed.
Williams was charged with video John Williams and was taken to the Seminole County Jail.
