A drunk and violent young man was arrested in Florida July 2015 after refusing sobriety tests and kicking an officer in the face.
According to local media sources in Clermont, Fla., Dylan Ledford was driving his pickup truck when he pulled into an intersection and stopped. An officer came over and Ledford admitted to having three beers but said, “I just want to go home. I’m only three minutes from home. I don’t want to go to jail.”
When the officer asked him to do a field sobriety test, Ledford allegedly replied, “Why are you being such a &#@%.”
He continued his profane tirade and refused to exit his truck.
Police “helped” him out but when he was placed in the patrol car, he began kicking the glass window and, as a result, was put in leg restraints. One officer said Ledford kicked him in the face.
En route to Lake County jail, Ledford reportedly threatened the officer, his wife, and his kids. He added, “You should have just let me go.”
Ledford, 22, was charged with DUI, resisting arrest with violence, threatening public official, and marijuana possession.
